Rides For Parkinson's app for iPhone and iPad

Transportation can be a tricky issue to deal with for families living with Parkinsons. Many times a family member is forced to take off of work for a few hours in order to take their loved one to an appointment. The effect is a financial loss on the family and added stress. This adds up quickly. The goal of Rides for Parkinsons is to alleviate this exact common situation.

Parkinson’s patients unable to use public transit systems or drive their own cars to doctor & health care professional appointments can now schedule a ride from a Rides for Parkinson’s Volunteer Driver. Rides are 100% free, provided on a first come first serve basis and are dependent upon availability of our drivers.

For volunteer drivers please note, in order to track rides in progress for safety reasons, Rides for Parkinsons will broadcast location while running the app as well as in the background.
